We specialize in residential home improvement, and light commercial construction. From small drywall, paint, and flooring jobs to full-blown additions including kitchens, bathrooms, garages, patios, and decks. For commercial work, we typically partner with small retail and mom and pop shops.
Each project is unique and has its own special circumstances that can dictate the amount of time your project will take. As part of our estimating process, we evaluate and communicate our timetables with each client so that everyone has a realistic expectation.

Most home improvement permits are issued for building, electrical, and plumbing work. Unless you live in Rockville or Gaithersburg, you will in most cases get your building and electrical permits from the Montgomery County Department of Permitting Services and plumbing permits from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC). Rockville residents obtain electrical, building and most plumbing permits from their city government. Gaithersburg residents obtain building and electrical permits from their city government and plumbing permits from WSSC. If you have additional questions about permits or inspections, you can contact Montgomery County Government Department of Permitting Services at (240)777-0311 or Gaithersburg City Government at (301)258-6330. If you are outside of Montgomery County, please remember to check with your state and county as both may have different processes and requirements.
You need to reach out to your HOA and ask them these three questions; Are there any special permits needed? Are there any specific times construction can take place? Are there any days where construction is prohibited?
It depends on what is available, and which products were ordered. We currently find that the items below are generally backordered or take the longest. It’s best to place your order as soon as possible to avoid delays.

As part of estimating process, we go over logistics including materials storage, acceptable areas where we can perform work and times in which work should be performed.
Often, our clients have already planned where to stay before we even evaluate the project. Clients often stay with family, friends, or arrange to rent a furnished apartment.
If you prefer to be present, we are certainly happy to meet as often as needed. We can also conduct video calls to show our progress on the job per your request.
Lots of noise. It would be best to plan to leave the house and go to your local library, café, or an outdoor park, if the weather permits, during the time construction is performed.

Expect a lot of noise, foot traffic, dumpsters, and trucks. Give your neighbors a friendly heads-up when construction will begin. Notify us at the start of the project on when your trash day is, and we will make sure to keep the mess minimal.
For Maryland, the spring and summer are typically the best seasons to get renovations completed.
Weather certainly can impact your project. Snow can impact our ability to arrive safely at your job. Jobs that require cuts be made outdoors using electrical tools cannot be used in inclement weather.
